Editorial Policy

This page explains how Fresh Health Tips produces what you read here, so you can judge it — and cite it — knowing exactly what it is.

Who writes here

Articles are produced by the Fresh Health Tips editorial team. We do not publish under invented expert names and we do not claim a medical review board. Where a claim needs clinical authority, we point you to the primary source rather than dressing it up as our own expertise.

Where our data comes from

Our data projects are built from public government datasets — chiefly the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's openFDA interface. We publish the method used for every dataset, we do not estimate or fill in missing records, and we ship the underlying data as a downloadable CSV so anyone can check our numbers or redo the analysis differently.

How we handle sources

General health articles are written from mainstream, widely accepted guidance and reference public health bodies such as the National Institutes of Health. We avoid single-study claims, miracle framing and numbers we cannot trace to a source.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to fix it, not defend it. Write to us through the contact page with the page and the problem. Data corrections are applied at the next scheduled refresh; text corrections are made directly on the page.

How this site is funded

Fresh Health Tips is free to read. Some pages contain links to products or to other sites we operate, and those links may earn us a commission. Commercial links never decide what a data project reports: our datasets publish every record the source releases, including for products and companies we may link to elsewhere.

What this site is not

Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. A product appearing in a recall record is a matter of public record, not our judgement of a company. For anything about your own health, talk to a qualified professional.
